Pochettino almost got his team relegated in La Liga before he took over the helm at Southampton.

And we weren't a team playing in Europe and trying to progress to a top 4 finish then.

Can people just accept he's a bang average manager and we should be aiming higher!

But it was what MP was doing the club were attracted too. Has CP got a similar way of doing things, or something equally outstanding? Just don't know.
Garcia sounded really promising, if the club bought into his philosophy it could be very exciting, but we don't really know who closed out the proceedings......him or us.

Les Reed and the board have been pretty good at picking out Managers in recent years, so whoever they go with will be the best choice in their eyes. Doesn't matter if we don't agree on it, they do far more in depth research on a manager then just look at his win percentage.

Surely winning games is the main job of a manager!

So surely you would go for a manager with a good win percentage, or have I misunderstood a managers job all these years?

It's the sort of manager we'd be looking at. If you're Sunderland you want someone who wins just enough matches to save you from relegation. That would give you a short-list of Sam Allardyce.

And we want to do well in Europe and maybe push for the top four and to do that you need to win a **** load of games, this rules out this Claude bloke then!

SKY SOURCES: SOUTHAMPTON RULE OUT GARCIA
Rudi Garcia
is no longer a candidate for the vacant Southampton manager's job, according to Sky Sources.
Ex-Lille and Roma manager Garcia emerged as the favourite to replace Ronald Koeman, who was officially unveiled as the new Everton manager today.
The 52-year-old spoke to Saints but the club do not feel he would be the best fit at this stage.
Former Monaco and Lyon manager Claude Puel, ex-Ajax boss Frank de Boer and Fenerbahce coach Vitor Pereira have all emerged as potential targets, with Southampton keen to get a manager in place before the players return for pre-season. (Sky)
