I'm in no way saying I'm qualified in recruiting managers of football clubs, but this Puel sounds the sort of guy a newly promoted team should be trying to get in, not one playing in Europe and trying to progress on to even bigger things. Granted MP had a similar CV but we were a bottom half team when he took over, things have changed majorly since then in my eyes.

Again I'm only going on what I can see and read about him, on paper his record hardly stands out does it. People are probably going to cry when I say this but for where we are right now as a club and the plans we have to progress, I would say it shows a lack of ambition and I would be pretty dissapointed if we appointed him.

Obviously I would stand by any decision Les makes and would give him a chance to prove me wrong, but right now, Puel is a big fat no from me.

Puel still at 10/1 in places. You can get £10 on him, banking you £110 and cover it with an insurance of £10 on Garcia which would get you your £20 back if he's appointed.

So worst case, you get your money back. Best case, you get £100 extra if Puel is appointed.

Not that I'm encouraging gambling, of course. :)
How's the hunt for a replacement avatar going?

If this is true, then Garcia being appointed is a formality now:

You must log in or register to see media

OTOH, look at the twitter handle...
A bit like the fact the lads name who wrote that huge story on the other saints forum was 'Jack Schitt'.

I use Sky Bet and the odds yesterday when I put money down were Garcia (4/6), FdB (6/1) and Puel (14/1)

Garcia has shifted slightly to 5/6 and Puel has plummeted to 2/1. FdB is a non-mover.
