Gus Poyet is doing a great job with Brighton and could be a long term solution, we keep missing out on young up and coming managers so why not take a chance? Could we be any worse?

Ole Gunnar Solskjær. I know it doesn't hold much credibility coming from a fellow Norwegian, but he truly is the real deal. Amazing man, there is definitely something special about him.

If Norway says Solskjaer, then that's good enough for me. I just hope he will better than the last four Utd persons who have come to our club. All of them have been ****e.

He would stay if we went down too, not sure if Benitez or Redknapp would.

Benitez makes sense to me if a new manager has to use the resources we already have. I can't see the likes of Cisse, Granero and Bosingwa reacting well with Redknapp.

good shout with ole, He is young and has played under the best manager and he knows what it is like to play in the modern game, also he would be doing the job for the right reasons and not like harry or benitez who would be looking how much they can make from the job.....Ole like someone said would not desert qpr if you should go down and would be hungry to make a name for himself and with his contacts would attract some quality players to bring you straight back up......He may even keep you up if he is installed in the next couple of weeks before the january window opens.......good choice norway...<ok>

Lots of different opinions here then - many different types and ages of managers.

Difficult to please everyone so some will no doubt be happy and others disappointed if a change is made.

I mentioned him before, I think he would be great if he could have come in the summer, last or next one, but keeping us up in our current situation with no experience of managing a first team in England is a very big ask of him. He also turned down Villa in the summer because his family wanted to stay in Norway, and doubt he'd come anyway now. If he does come and is given time I think he would take us a long, long way, before Man U come calling for him.
