I would prefer Samuella Alardicio, just imagine the mayhem in Scouseland if he got us to finish above E"var"ton

Isn't more pleasant on this board when we are talking balls and not politics

Perhaps the delay after yesterday's statement that an appointment was imminent is down to terms. The would-be person is arguing over the length of the contract, which means basically given our history the amount of compensation due when he is dismissed.

Brenda on Sky News today pledged his undying love and loyalty for Leicester
That means he will be Arsenal manager by Christmas if, Arsenal are willing to pay the compensation

If we get Hughton we're definitely going down, same as Clement.

I don't see any obvious replacement, the Sheffield manager seems to be doing well but there's no chance he'll jump ship for us <laugh>

Benitez, as mentioned by several on here, would be a great shout. I doubt we will pay up that much, and I also doubt he'd be happy working within the current structure.

    Basically, it's not looking promising...

    Balls! :emoticon-0111-blush
(With hindsight - and apologies - I should’ve said: “You always talk balls, duggie!” :emoticon-0110-tongu)

I'm pleased that they've put HM in charge for now. It will be interesting to see how the players respond to him, he's had a couple of stuffings with the U23's and yet has done very well with them overall. Maybe he'll shake the first team up a bit... he has nothing to lose!
I'm hoping he can buy some time to allow the Three Amigos to get their man. I'm sure Dalian Yifang will say "you for coffee" to any approach for Rafa, but desperate times require desperate measures!

I don’t know the U23s too well. Do they have a forward we can add in January? Replacing the indispensable <laugh> Gray if necessary...

The club statement suggested that someone was lined up. I have just put fuel in the car seeing as the club might give way over my demand for a veggie plot.:emoticon-0157-sun:

Very un Pozzo like to not have someone lined up - apparently we have been rejected by a couple of managers as you suggested .

The Ladies are doing well too, perhaps try their manager, or on second thoughts play the ladies instead!

Well, well, well what a lovely mess the club are in now.

Give Mullins a run as it seems ever other manager they have contacted have mulled over it and realsied that it is not worth it. Getting 3r of 4th choice is like just going back to Mazzarri.

Good luck to Mullins, he'll need it.
