Looking like it’s going to be Zidane. Not sure on that one we really need someone with championship experience.

Maybe Acun trying to pick the team and Rosenior refusing to bend? I'm thinking of Pandur for Allsop for starters and Ohio, both of whom Acun was blowing the trumpet for at the Q@A?Even so. Finishing 7th just 3 points outside of that isn’t exactly a massive failure from the point we were at 31st December. It shows the fine nature of football especially with injuries we had and some bad luck like against Norwich and Watford at home.
To me there’s more than meets the eye with the sacking of Rosenior. Contradicting reasons and the fact he gave a 3 year deal to him leads me to believe there was a serious downturn in the relationship. Rosenior may have met his fate in this season I don’t doubt but at least the perception of the club may not have been harmed as much as it was when he was originally sacked.
Now we look like a club willing to sack managers at a whim. Publicly criticise players in fan forums and to top it all off you may not stay at the club more than a year even if you want to given the high nature of turnover. Rosenior papered over a lot of the cracks that was the perception of the club by being an up and coming manager at the time that had a tendency to develop young players.
Because Bruce had spent it all.The Allams' spending yo-yod hugely. Bruce was probably on decent money but by the end they were spending as little as possible.
Because Bruce had spent it all.
wiki means nothing…anyone can edit anything at anytime…it’s useless as a source of info.
I thought that was open knowledge??
We did make a profit after he'd left and we sold them all but like it or not there was a time when the club were £80m in the red. For the record I would never have sacked Bruce, but he wanted to be away the minute Ehab told him to leave the negotiations to him but still wanted Bruce to identify which players he wanted. We made a profit on Bruce's signings as a whole. If every manager did that we'd be in a great position and a PL side.
No he wasn’t.He was sacked over the allsopp situation, nothing else
There is no such message these days. Managers need to earn a living. The odd one would be choosy but if a job is available managers will apply.Maybe Acun trying to pick the team and Rosenior refusing to bend? It was a knee jerk sacking as big a calamity as Don Robinson sacking Brian Horton.
It sent a huge 'dont-touch-with-a-bargepole' message to the rest of football too.

I saw the names that applied for AFC Wimbledon when I was down there and it was mental. League 2 and there were managers that had recently managed in FA Cup finals and played in the Premier league applying. Money was way out of Wimbledons league but they sent an expression of interest on the hope some nutter would pay it.
I'm sure Acun has had a very long list of managers wanting this job. Not saying they will be right but if you're gonna get paid and then paid off why wouldn't you take it?
Do you guys really believe in that? Zidane is waiting for French NT, nothing else, he rejected USA NT.Looking like it’s going to be Zidane. Not sure on that one we really need someone with championship experience.
Exactly. Add into that the likes of Paul Ince and Alan Pardew who I'm certain would have applied it soon adds up to 30.Theres probably only 2 maybe 3 managers in the championship currently who dont need to make a living
And theyre from the 'newer' tier of insanely highly paid footballers
You are describing any applicant who isn't in work, like Walter was. There is no such message these days. Managers need to earn a living. The odd one would be choosy but if a job is available managers will apply.

You guys need a lesson on Acun bulshitting, I hope lesson is not delivered with relegation.

Of course someone who is out of work and football would throw their hat in the ring and apply because they have nothing to lose.
My point was the way Acun sacked Rosenior sent the wrong message out to anyone in football who was already at a club, why would they want to leave one club to join one where the manager sacks you for finishing 7th?
How many applicants have we had from managers who are still in work?Honestly.....the football world doesn't really care bar giving pundits something to talk about. It certainly wouldn't stop managers coming to us. Nearly all owners these days are reactive and very short term. Managers know full well they'll get a pay off or successful and move on. The fact Acun sacked LR won't make a shred of difference
