I didn't hear it as turning on the fans. Mike White asked him if he heard the reaction at the end and he said 'yes, but also I'd like a reaction during the game' or something similar. He then quantified it by explaining it is a young squad and they need the fans to get behind them.

If anyone took that as blaming the fans then they missed the earlier parts of his interview where he explained that not taking chances was our downfall today
What chances

If Rosenior had given that interview, you'd have been howling.

And you know it.

If Walter's team was even looking like the sum of its parts, he wouldn't be criticising the fans, and he knows it.

And if you listen to that again, and you don't hear a point at which he completely loses it then you're very much in the minority.

He did give one abit similar when he was inviting fans to come and tell him it’s not the right way of playing

I’d just like a manager who uses defenders to defend, midfielders to do a mix of defending and attacking, and strikers who attack (and are actually given the ball enough).

Neither Tim Walter or Liam Rosenior delivered this.

You can call it ‘modern football’ or whatever you like (or call me a dinosaur?) - our attacking players have been held back for the last two seasons because of this ‘wonderful’, ‘innovative’ playing-out system.

It kills the atmosphere and it explains the home form.

I got it wrong thinking Tim Walter would be an upgrade on Liam Rosenior. But then I was promised something entirely different.

Please don't tell me how I would or wouldn't think.

Rosenior did complain about atmosphere, I'm pretty sure he also complained about fans getting on the players backs when they were trying to learn to play out.

Either way it's irrelevant to the current situation.

Simons hit the keeper when it was easier to score and Puerta also missed a decent first half chance. Kamara also tried to score from a tight angle when a cut back for one of 3 players coming into the box was the better option. All of these at 1-0 and any of them go in and it's game over.
Simons finishing that as he should and it woulda been a marvelous goal

Moyes is the obvious answer as I’ve said before.
Would he come? Who knows unless you ask

but again 13 matches no
We aren’t bottom of the league
Keep Walter
