Any of the above except Kartal - Never heard of him - don't care how good he might be or how good he is - I can't take another untried in this league manager

Alex Neil isn’t my first choice, whoever we get will probably be out of work. They’ll probably be out of work cos they’ve been sacked. I don’t think we’ll go for an in work man with the championship experience eg John eustace.
Are we really in a position to turn down Alex Neil…he isn’t the most attractive prospect but then City aren’t the prettiest girl in the playground as duffen world say.
Who was our last big appointment, Bruce maybe name wise but he’d been sacked.
Silva was good but he was a left field appointment. Everyone since had been a punt with no great track record.

Who was the bloke who was doing well at Birmingham, before being binned for Rooney? Does he have a job now? Can't remember who the hell it was.

Eustace is at Blackburn - no reason he would leave to come here

Baz thinks we are a bigger club and it’s possible we could. Although he agreed we prob won’t get someone who’s in a job

Right then let's all start talking about (take your pick from the following) Klopp, Pep, Iraola, Rosenior (see what I did there), Ancelotti, Slot, Chris Wilder (promotion guaranteed)

Is that why he sacked Rosenior when only a minority wanted it?
Is that why he appointed Shota and Walter?
Walter's job became untenable after the fan reaction v's Wednesday. It started with just one stand (North Stand) calling for him to be sacked, but ended up being the majority from all 4 stands. No way he could ignore that sort of reaction, especially when it had been building over the weeks and we'd been so easily swept aside by Wednesday. Simple as.
I suspect he'll go for an "experienced championship manager" because his experiments have failed, and people like Dublin and now likely Rodwell will be advising him to do so.
I highly doubt a man like Acun, given the success he's had in his life, would be "easily led by a mob voice".

Silva wasn't a 'left field appointment' at all. He sent his own cv in way before he was offered the job but no-one at the club knew anything about him, and didn't bother to find out either. His cv was only dug out again some time later when we were struggling to attract anyone else.
It's said Stuart Pearson once applied for a managers job at City too when he was coaching at West Brom and he didn't even get a reply because no-one at the club at that time knew who he was.
I hope whoever is looking at the applicants has a bit more experience then we have shown in the past.

Does that not make him left field…..he sent his own cv …no one knew who he was as he had no great track record that we knew of.
Then when we got desperate we dug out his cv

Photo doing the rounds suggesting Cooper was in Hull, since when his odds have come in to 8/1 with Sky Bet.

The last line is true, the fans reaction may have been a factor but Walter wasn't sacked just on that alone. Let's say Tim did himself no favours by the way he treated some of his players, that and the poor results plus the general bad feeling created around the training ground.

Marco Silva was a well respected coach in his own country at the time and wanted a crack at the English Premier League. His cv was over looked at City when it first dropped through the post.
