I don't acknowledge their existence after they encouraged me to leave their stadium mid game...

You want every single PL club to have a British manager? Why?

You seem to have a city narrative based on your Aussie connection...

    ... Why?

    P. S. Sorry to see Warney go. Perhaps paid the price of having to live so long between the white lines....

    Loved to hate him.

Will miss hating him cos he was so ****ing good.

    RIP.

Dig deeper. Reflect. Think about it.

We have a limited squad over achieving in budgetary terms

Still some work to do by 6 points will see us safe...

I probably agree with you in that criticisms of Shota are premature.

But cheaply typecasting those who dont agree with you purely on nationalist lines doesnt do you any favours.

My message had nothing to do with our club, the discussion was about PL managers. The first four paragraphs you've just written have nothing to do with anything I've said in this thread.

I didn't typecast anyone. I was asking specifically why he had said he wanted all PL clubs to have British managers. Perhaps you need to reflect on what I wrote.

    Ahh OK.

Had one or two over a massive Indian.

It was great, I'm pretty sure the chef was Bangladeshi.

Food was good so I don't care where he came from.

    That's my point.

Shota's played at European and international level.

Played and coached under World class managers.

Anyone suggesting grant had better pedigree to coach in the championship needs to swallow a couple of late 1990's - late 2000s sticker albums.

Hell get a tune from them. Might need to shift a few in summer though.....

I think you're agreeing with me? Shouldn't matter where managers come from. I was questioning a comment suggesting British managers don't get a go in the PL despite a lot of recent appointments being British, suggesting the comment wasn't accurate. That was the start and end of it.

Yes, i begrudgingly and overarchingly agree with you but still feel talented British coaches are being sidelined at the top level for the sake of 'sexy' marketing opportunities.
Has got clubs in debt since the late 90s.
No sign of the trend abating...

I think that's rather silly when Gerrard and Lampard have just walked into mid-table PL jobs, Smith and Hodgson brought in to fight fires in the relegation battle, and there being every chance that Rooney is pursued heavily in the summer. I don't think that foreign managers are brought in for anything resembling 'marketing opportunities' and it's rather strange to see you suggest that in the same breath as criticising people for writing off Shota's ability just because he's foreign.

Rooney is too expensive to be sacked.
    .
He won't be Derby manager in 12 months.

I wasn't suggesting he'd be sacked. Again I think you're agreeing with me.
