I think the stadium is a bit bigger than that. There would be room around the concourses for all of the names you mentioned and more. And if we were limiting it like that, Elliott did far more than Geovanni for us. He was only good for about half a season. It was at a higher level yes but I don't think that makes it any more important.
All open to discussion of course. Length of service versus quality of service. They're all HULL CITY AFC larkers- I don't see any Hull Tigers out there. Looks like someone at the club is paying attention and valuing our heritage. That's a positive development. Another positive development is the matchday programme. It's much improved and now a worthy member at this level. Note for all turds: these are not 'changes', these are 'improvements'. There is a fundamental difference. Change for change's sake is the turd's way of saying 'inferior'. These need to be benchmarked so standards don't slip again.
More a throw back to the days of football hooliganism where the situations were considered to have been made worse by the consumption of alcohol. Have you seen the videos only this season of drunken Leeds fans ripping off doors & toilet seats at an away game (of course just high spirits to those who believe there isn't really a problem) There are enough ******s who can't handle the drink they do manage to get before a game & at half time without letting them keep drinking during the game.
Disappointing to see the egg chasing influence in the new decor/naming. The Tim Wilby urinals and the Paul Eastwood toilets.
Disappointing. The entrance I use meantI just saw miles upon miles of Hull FC banners. I figured they'd be switched around.
Can't believe Geovanni's up there. He belongs in the same bracket as Okocha and Pedersen: a novelty player who gave us one or two memorable moments and nothing more. I loved how the FC badge was used, but ours had been replaced with just the Tiger... It seems Assem can't even bring himself to use our official badge now, lest we see the words 'Hull City AFC - The Tigers'
Those banners weren't up in the West but instead there were some pretty smart displays on the walls telling stories of various City teams from history. I seem to remember NT saying something about making each stand have a unique identity and he suggested that the West is more full of older supporters than the other stands and that they were aiming to cater for this demographic in the West stand so I imagine it's something to do with that. Whereas in the East they've gone for iconic players and their chants. I hope they've put the same effort into the away end to make it a unique environment in the concourse that away fans will remember.
Why isn't David brown up there??? If it wasn't for his goals in the great escape season, god knows which league ( if any) we would be in.
