Roy Keane would be a disaster. Mark Hughes or Martin O'Neill would be a very good appointment in my eyes. Any of the other main candidates would be underwhelming at best.
Top 3 favourites are Nigel Pearson, Mark Hughes and Martin O'Neill I would be delighted with any of them. I wouldnt care too much which one
On the Oddschecker website, they're only showing the odds offered by VC and SkyBet at the minute, whereas earlier today they had prices for about 10 different bookies. Explanation? http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/leicester-specials/next-permanent-manager
She also said her sources say he is now favourite with the owners, that tells me they have had a 'no' from MON at least
Given his reasons for leaving Leicester, all we have to do is turn down any approach. Otherwise he would look a bit of a hypocrite. Rob Tanner: So, why did you leave? Nigel Pearson: Firstly, the process of the approach. Hull City approached Leicester and Leicester agreed to let Hull speak to me. That surprised people at Hull, but I was surprised a little bit myself. Having said that, once that process has been initiated, it certainly helped me to make my mind up. My tenure has finished. I don't know what people think of my decision, but it is a decision that I have made due to the events as they panned out. I am not going to say any more on that. RT: Why did it surprise you? Did you think they would have fought to keep you? NP: Yes, essentially.
I have always had the feeling that Nigel doesnt want to be at Hull. When he left his comments about why he left seemed disrespectful to Hull. He never seems happy there either I think he would of joined anyone had they made an approach as i think Milan dented Nigels ego by accepting Hulls approach
Lots of very worried Hull fans on twitter at the minute. All us Leicesters fans can sympathise as we was in the same boat 18 months ago
