A reporter also ask Pearson if he was interested, he said 'I am just concentrating on my teams next match' So it seems he may be interested also.
Pearson has the belief that he should only ever answer questions about the next/last match or the squad. He refuses to speak about speculation whether there's anything in it or not. So in his mind, he may have ruled himself out, but he doesn't see why he should tell the media that.
Stringer says we all know he keeps his cards close! Which is what you have saidSo even if he was he woudn't say!
If you're going to quote Nige, at least do it accurately.... "We're trying to build for a game, I've got no control over what happens anywhere else and I'm not interested in talking about anything outside of us. "I just find it a bit irritating if I'm honest, you know what I'm like. So I suggest we close it there."
We all now Nigel is crap with the media so we should listen to his mumblings too much. Lee Clark yesterday done his best to end speculation but Nigel hasnt. That must tell you something
Nigel isn't remotely interested in returning to Leicester and that's from the horses mouth, I've just found out he told the players yesterday.
Until Pearson does what Clarke has done and come out and say he is not interested then these rumour will continue. All he has said is that he annoyed about being asked about it which will (and has) fuelled the rumours further. Tbh I hope we don't get him - not because I don't want him, but because I rather like Hull, although not that many of their fans on these boards.
Odds on now Also Hull City state 'we expect an approach' BBC news 'sources say Pearson is now number 1 target'
All this may be true. But I strongly believe Pearson himself will not want to come back. This saga could drag on and on...
**** you're desperate, firstly you misquote him, then you completely make up a quote from Hull City. He's going nowhere, he's told the players to completely ignore all this Leicester bollocks as he's not remotely interested. Move on, it will probably be Hughes, it definitely won't be Pearson.
The BBC (East Midlands Today I believe) did say he was our number one target and that we're expected to make an official approach sometime soon so Lord is, for the most part, correct I think. Anyway, these lot on Twitter seem quite confident: Oddschanger Oddschanger Nigel Pearson will be named Leicester manager, current best odds EVENS with @VictorChandler @OfficialFOXES #LCFC Still skeptical about whether he will come though. Can't see Hull City giving us permission or him desperately requesting to speak to us.
I believe what BBC say as they cannot be seen to be making things up! If it was on sky then maybe you would question it?
Don't be silly, everyone loves talking about us, we should be winning oscars for our unbelievable and gripping storylines. Besides, there aint no Huddersfield fans on here.
