I agree most were actually ****e... some just looked horrible. I'm worried about all the idiots wanting remakes.
Thing is 96/97 was a classic as was the away shirt that year. The away shirt was redone about 3 or 4 years ago by Puma. That Navy/orange/green thing was a ****ing monstrosity, as was the deckchair one.
Northern Rock gold writing one was a lovely kit. Have a long sleeved version of it but spilled some kebab chilli sauce on it and can't get it out...
I don't think that comment was wise I mean you can't achieve that can you? I think it's spot on from top to bottom... not keen on he blank back but it's black numbers and letters so it'll be mint basically.
Outside of Newcastle people won't be wearing these shirts much anyway. I've noticed here "on the continent" people wearing City shirts, Man U, Ajax when it's hot. Because those shirts are decent colours which give off a summer vibe and actually are stylish. Newcastle United's black and white does not give off a happy summer vibe. Perhaps if we try and emulate Juventus, but then people will just call us a 1 pound Juve.
Blank backs are on purpose for teams in Europe...... Its a UEFA thing. look at ours in Champs league this year
Yeah I know It's a kit killer though... I think it'll look sound with black letters and numbers though.. I was never a fan of the red..
I'll be astonished if they get away with using different club crests on different shirts. I like the old style castle with magpie one but the old 80's NUFC one is ****e in my opinion.
If you get to the 7 minute mark, he say's he's seen the legit kits and tells what the difference is in them but states he's maybe seen the pro kit rather than fan kit. Apparently they are using different crest in 3rd shirt too.
