However, the Adidas templates are usually the same as top clubs around the world whereas the Joma templates are the same as many Sunday league teams.
I actually like that.... What kit is that ? I still think that they are only wearing that kit for pre season. I can’t see that being the kit for the season. It’s unimaginable. The FA are looking at it as well as it doesn’t meet regulations regarding the sponsor size.
So it seems the official kit has been released today and actually has no sponsorship on the kit at all, and is part of a campaign led by Paddy Power to get sponsors removed from kits and “return the shirts to the fans”. Nice sentiment, however there will be a loss of income from having no sponsors. How will this be recouped ? Will the shirts cost more or will there be price rises in the stadium on things like food and beverages etc. The clubs will still get their money somehow. I don’t know how much kit sponsorship is worth to Huddersfield but I’m sure they could do with that income whatever it is having just been relegated from the PL. Some say it’s great marketing from Paddy Power, I think it’s a bit naiïve. Whilst the kit undeniably looks great without a sponsor, bills have to be paid. I wouldn’t mind guessing that those Paddy Power shirts will somehow be sold/auctioned off. There is the possibility that nobody wanted to sponsor them............. please log in to view this image
