He equated my comment about the badge to some defence of the kit and went on a rant about the kit. He's even since confirmed that's how he interpreted it.

Honestly this place recently is like a court of law
Well, I was being a bit facetious. However, if you insist, you made a comment about living in the past. It's a retro kit, what do you expect? He referenced it in the first sentence of his reply. You didn't say you like it, he didn't say you did. And the court of law remark- oh, the irony!

Good option to leave it blank if the sponsor looks ****e

I am just hoping it isn't a damn betting company / online casino. If it is, then all the children’s shirts will have to be sponsor free. It was great having Corendon Airways as the shirt sponsor as then the kids shirts looked the same as the adults.

Hopefully we won't lose the Tiger plane, as this did raise the profile of the club across Europe.

I thought betting companies can’t be on shirts anymore? Or is that supposed to be somewhere down the line?

thats it

its a good throwback for some older fans, but no one outside of that is going to think, oh yes thats a hull city kit
we have a decent following in turkey and the premier league is the most watched sports league in the world

use the club badge on the kit
get people use to the hull city badge and 'brand'
marketing innit
What would a central badge in the middle of the vicars bit of the shirt look like? I think it would break up the wide strip? I also remember a season around 68-70 when we had a central badge.

I undecided whether or not I actually like/love it. It's retro but obviously with a modern'ish fit, it's not like they'll be running onto the pitch with Harry Enfield style knee length shorts and hob nailed boots, although it'd be amazing to see.

It'll be completely different to every other kit out there (not just the colour scheme) which I like, also to see it in real life vs a picture might be quite different, especially when it's run out of the tunnel on Premier League debut.

I liked the 25/26 and 24/25 home kits

Ha you were particularly grumpy this time last year....

Given how much of a cesspit of negativity twitter is I'd say that was an overwhelming success....

If it’s McVities, that’ll definitely take the biscuit!

Just arrived home from a few days in Liverpool and catching up with the rampant hysteria. It's just a football kit, I like it, some people don't. It's going to give us a different look to other Prem teams and different to our previous seasons at this level. We could have gone for yet another variation on black and amber stripes, black shorts and black and amber socks or we could have tried something, gasp, different. On a different note, the Hill Dickinson stadium is very impressive, steep steps up though for us old gits.
