Id be happy with somebody like Errea / Hummel
Hummel supply Coventry, Bournemouth and Rotherham that I know of.
Yeah I worked with errea for years. I actually took Les Motherby over there and they showed him the proposal they had done for City a couple of years back.
At this time of year errea will have most of their Pro clubs kits in their warehouse and on their way to the clubs for launch, but they work pretty different to other brands in terms of lead time. They stick to their guns no matter who it is so would not even consider trying to produce something for City in a matter of weeks.

Someone like Nike or Adidas could do it, Castore the same. They would be able to get a factory to make a bespoke kit in serious numbers within 4 or 5 weeks. You can get bespoke with Adidas but they just wont do it for small numbers.

If City have designs they may well stick with them for another manufacturer, designs are not copyrighted.

The way I see it there are probably 3 options. They stick with Oxen as they're way down the manufacturing process and it will cost too much to pull out, depsite the money potentiall being offered. You would think if it was being done properly some merchandise is already in production. Sponsors will be the key, if they were holding out for a main shirt sponsor knowing it would double or triple the income in the Premeir League then the shirts wont be in production.

Or they switch brands and potentially delay the launch of the jerseys/merch until July. This would allow them to bring in a proper brand who is offering serious loot. An extra 2/3 Million would be impossible to turn down, even if it means paying someone off a few hundred grand for wasted initial stock.

Third is that Acun sticks with Kappa as he has the licence and realises the income potential of manufacturing your own shirts in the numbers we are likely to see worldwide. Unlikely as he doesnt seem to have the right people managing this for him judging by the state of the merchandise and retail offerings since we went with Kappa.
Correndon extended their shirt sponsor deal to 2027 last year..so how or why will this change?

One thing about the turks is they are very 'patriotic' if thats the right word

Seeing acun with the turkish flag at wembley has gone down an absolute treat over there
Alongside fenerbache turkish page mentioning us

We are properly famous in turkey now

What that means, not sure but
Cant be a bad thing
They are allowed to be patriotic. Here it is something only other countries should be allowed to be.

Move them onto another part of the kit? Money talks.
It’s interesting because we didn’t have a back-of-shirt sponsor at all this season, which is odd because you’d think we’d want the money.

In the Prem, you can’t have back-of-shirt sponsors. You can only have front-of-shirt and sleeve sponsors. I don’t think you can have back-of-short sponsors either in the Prem but don’t quote me on that.

If we want a new front-of-shirt sponsor, I’m not sure how Corendon fit into this. Training gear sponsor?

Money money money.

If the club has a get out clause and a sponsor willing to pay more, it will change.
I know nothing about these deals, but would seem strange to make an agreement, when Correndon were a big coup as a championship sponsor, to have a clause that states you will pay us money until we get promoted and then far more in the public eye and then you're out of here.. would it have been the opposite if city were relegated, that correndon could opt out due to reduced visibility of city in league one?

No doubt if we had gone down they would have had an opt out.

We did it with Giacom I think?

We were happy with them, had them signed. Then Corendon gave us more money so Giacom were ditched.

As long as Corendon get their money back I don't think they will be too bothered.

I would take the big coup thing with a pinch of salt. Ive been a commercial manager and know plenty of others. Every deal is a 'record deal' and better than the last. Truth is many aren't, and with the Turkish connection im sure this will be a mate of Acun doing him a favour one way or another. Which is fine, but when a big gambling company come knocking this morning I wouldn't be surprised to see them become principal partners.

You can't have front of shirt gambling sponsors.

You know full well what I am referring to.
No one has stopped you from being patriotic, nor asked you not to be.

For a laugh, you posted a sectarian insult, which was deleted and you were asked not to post it again. That's not the same as being forbidden from being patriotic - patriotism isn't about insulting someone else, is it?

Peak patriotism is defacing your own country’s flag by putting it on a roundabout.
