I'm not sure what I think of the colour of the trim but kits always look better on than just the picture of the kit itself. Be interesting to see if it's a Nike theme or an LFC special.

In some pictures it looks like lighter red, in others pics it looks like whatever colour it is that isn't light red and whatever name they're calling that. Certainly it's not a colour that belongs on an LFC home kit, but that's Nike hoping to drive sales. I won't buy it. Fairly sure most on here won't either. Disappointingly we're not the intended audience.

But I don't mind this shirt, it's better than the current one, however this trim is obviously an issue, well to lots of people outside Nike and the club's marketing department. Leaving that out of it I'm fine with the rest of the design, it's not amazing but it's nice enough.

You see you lot are optimists when it comes to the football but generally miserable twats when it comes to the kits
Whereas I am normally pessimistic where the football is but tend to like most of our kits lmao
As the thought of adorning myself with said attire has never seriously attempted to cross my mind, I don't really care much what they come up with.

Everyone on here is fast approaching their second childhood so I expect we'll be in the exact consumer sector they're targeting soon and wearing the full strip as we all post together unable to remember why we're posting or what team we support.

When I was a sprog replica kits weren't even a thing, and by the time they came along I was set in my ways and not bothered.
At my age I'd feel (even more of) a tit in a football outfit.
No offence intended to others of similar vintage who do choose to wear one - it's just not for me.
Also, I resent being seen as a marketing opportunity all the time, and stoically resist the siren call of advertisers.

Apparently it's crimson. Maybe crimson is different in America. They do like to be different. :)

Edit: the trim is described as being crimson.

I personally think we are a bit too precious at times.

Did anyone else think it weird we played in black against a team in claret at sunset on Wednesday? You could see both sides were giving the ball away. I think our change strips should be dark, and a light one (preferably classic white with black shorts, as in the old days). As for this kit - not as good as last year's, but not the worst one ever. That one is the Coventry kit. Dogshit,

I've not wore replicas kits for probably 15years+ because of that very reason, only wear them when playing footy.

Yep. Obviously the idea of a change strip was to prevent a colour or tonal clash and the resultant confusion - now it's just another money-spinner.

Not really. Our first and second kits both clash. We played in the black kit away to Villa, Palace, and West Ham.

Not sure if any of them were at sunset :)

I still wear them to play in and for comfort
I think football shirts are comparable to any other type of clothing tbh
But as all my other clothes come from George I don’t really care lmao
I don’t drink
I don’t do drugs
I don’t smoke
I don’t go out to clubs
If I do buy a kit I tend to wait till it’s in the sale unless it’s my wedding footy shirt
Been out in a la rams top tonight
No drama lol

I got the purple NB away top from eBay and I love it for doing circuit training in. It's not bad for running either. I also got a red Adidas home top from the Hodgson year as a present, but I find it top heavy for doing sport in. I don't wear either as normal clothing though. That's not really a thing over here anyway. Being the plastic armchair fan that I am, I do though have a coat, a hoody and a polo shirt. You'll be pleased to know that I don't wear them all at the same time.
