Can someone enlighten me to the rules. I (and Gary Linneker apparently) had genuine difficulty telling us apart from Hull a few months ago but have never had any difficulty with the black 'n' white of Newcastle. So what are the rules?

Nice kit though.

Seeing as we both wore stripes in the game at St. Mary's it's obviously okay to do this again. I can only assume that it was our players/coaches who decided the yellow is preferable.

I think the ultimate decision on whether kits clash lies with the referee. Some may be stricter than others.

I was at the Newcastle game and, as I suffer from a mild form of colour-blindness I did have trouble at times distinguishing the teams (apart from the style of football of course). So I personally welcome this.

After the 1-7 I think "just like watching Brazil" needs to be retired.

Wow - only while watching the United game last week, did I turn to my son and say "I think I'll write to the club and ask for yellow shirts for the away kit next season" ... That Kreuger bloke is bloody brilliant; he can even read minds.

Kinda the wrong yellow but nice anyway. I still yearn for our traditional yellow with blue shorts.

edit - Hold that, its growing on me.

I always yearn for a modern version of the 76 yellow and blue versus Manchester who kit.
