The sponsors logo doesn’t bother me as for some reason I filter it out.
Have ever downloaded a film that is in English, but due to where you obtained it from had burned in Chinese subtitles? I just filter them out after a few minutes as I can’t read them. If the film has burned in subtitle in readable to me text though it annoys the hell out of me though if you see what I mean.
I’m all for realism, in films, but I am happy to suspend that when it comes to subtitles. I am quite happy for a Chinese peasant, for example, to be able to speak English, rather than have to read subtitles.
I recently watched a film, Jason Statham, with Chinese Triads and a Japanese gang, and having to read English subtitles, instead of concentrating on the actual film, was just bloody annoying, especially as they were on screen a lot.
BUT for absolute annoyance, nothing competes with the actors who think that communicating by the means of whispering, is normal.
You know the films, where you get the sound just right, then miss half of a conversation because someone decides to speak as quietly as possible to try to inject some sort of menace or mystery into his speech.
But to keep the thread on track, I love both shirts, and so does the missus.
