Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but surely the reason behind the big "delay" in showing the new kit is because the new sponsor must be "Air Asia". And reckon Tony Fernandez will be presented to the supporters officially on Saturday. All kills two birds with one stone.......just a shame those birds aren't Flavio and Bernie!!:emoticon-0102-bigsm
 
I don't know this for sure, but just have a feeling that that is what's going to happen. Why else would they delay in showing the new kit? They have never done this before, so reckon they are hiding something. Also, Flav and Bernie are flash show-offs, so it's another chance for a big PR stunt
 
Possibly, you could be right. To be honest I think this Fernandez take over isnt anything but them guys sponsoring us and possible a small investment. Im still convinced that the takeover will be from someone much bigger then Fernandez who just isnt worth enough to run a football club.
 
Fernandes tweeted this morning that he was in london today to present a joint venture opportunity to the board..... More complicated than sponsorship me thinks but definitely not the main buyer me also thinks

Hopefully this might be the tying up of some kind of deal, be it sponsorship or ownership not too long to wait now :)
 
how much is t.f actually worth?
I read 400m which isn't much by today's standards, it'd be a big ask for him to pump half his wealth into us and finance the lotus f1 team too?

@QPRGoddard As I understand it, he's in the country trying to tie up the deal. Wants a majority stake.
 
What do we think then? Just a 20% or so share holding or majority share holding owner? Can't decide myself!!
