Hideous top with a Brown trim that you can call copper if it makes you feel better is not the colours of Swansea city. At £45 dont tell me your not getting ripped off when they make them for as little as a £5 note...A total commercial con that is nothing other than to rip of the fans. There is only one time when you need to change your top and that is when the sponsors name changes or the top has worn out. To do it every season is taking the piss out of the already over charged fans....

Dai the club is not ripping off anyone, they don't have to buy the new kit does it? I've got a top going back for practically every season for the last 20 years, I will still buy this one.

But going by your past posts

1) the club should lower ticket and season ticket prices
2) the club should basically stop selling new merchandise
3) the club should invest £80m-£100m in a new stadium
4) the club should spend £30m-£40m on new players

So tell me how they are supposed to make less money on tickets, make less money on merchandise, spend more than we have ever done on players whilst spending hugely on a new stadium? I'm sorry mate but your maths don't add up
 
Dont you know how much the club is making every season.....its mind blowing and this is our 5th season and a lot more money to come.....commercial and attendance sales is a very tiny part of clubs in the premierships income....
 
Yes I've read the club's accounts, the point though is that we have to expand in the commercial side of things, we are very naive when it comes to the marketing of our club merchandise.

You want us to basically close that area down by only changing kits when we change sponsors. So every other club will be busy marketing and trying to get new fans and we close down. Great!

That doesn't answer his question, in fact it strengthen his case. Where will Swansea find the £140M you want spent next season without the shirt sales helping to get there?

Are you gifting that cash?

Im happy as i rake the money in <ok> all my tenants are happy and i have a lot of people on my books that want to join my merry band of tenants.......you cant get better than that and its better than selling the big issue like some on here...<nahnah>:emoticon-0178-rock:

Don't denigrate the Big Issue sellers , at least they're not just taking the benefits .
