The bands don't look as bad as I first thought (though the 89-90 shirt still managed to keep them the same on either side), but I'd rather have a Macron man on both shoulders for the sole reason of symmetry; this one shoulder yayman - obviously it's been designed look less obtrusive like you say - in fact draws attention because there's only one. And he's still a sizeable fella. Why can't Macron just have their badge like everyone else and not invade the team's shirt space? I'll live with it I suppose, though the sponsor doesn't exactly suggest any company of any repute wants to do business with United, which is also worrying. I just like Leeds to look 'Leeds' rather than like every other tinpot, cheap-kitted little club who go for the gimmicky designs. Plain, no-nonsense, no frills and coloured 'you're gonna get your ****ing heads kicked in' white. That's how it should be.

They're Gibraltarian, not Ghanaian. They deal all over Europe apparently. Agreed though, it's not the kind of well-known sponsorship you'd associate with a successfully branded club. Edit: there is a Ghanaian company of the same name, but they were founded in 1924, so the one sponsoring us is obviously the 2004 company from Gibraltar whose website is at eigplc.com (same logo as on the shirt).
Yeah but I'd never heard of Netflights or Red Kite either. I laughed my head off a couple of years ago when I discovered that Scunthorpe were sponsored by Land Rover... ... Scunthorpe branch.
From the 90s until our third-tier relegation, we were sponsored by well-known companies. From then on, the Bates factor has kicked in and no companies of national repute seem interested any more. Sky Bet come in for talks with us and all of a sudden, they shrink away. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, it seems other clubs are having difficulties as well with sponsorship and at least we're not sponsored by Cash Converters (*cough* Hull *cough*). Because he's a sexy bastard and a Leeds lad.
Actually last year I really wanted the 1986 Burton away shirt but when it came to actualy getting it the Online shop was sold out.
I like it but think the Macron needs lowering about an inch because its higher than the badge, anyone agree?

Hate collars, they always curl inwards or upwards (usually both sides at once) and make the you look scruffy. If this is fashion i'm defo getting old cos how an open v neck and collar go together beats me. Well the good news is i've saved a hundred quid not having to get one for me and the boys.
