It's still red and white (red and white stripes too, technically) so any sensationalist point of "Would you tolerate blue and purple stars lol!" doesn't exactly serve much purpose.

I just came back from outdoors. It's cold and dark.

No, its an all red kit with white accents.

It serves a purpose for me. So if it was blue with purple stars would you be ok with that?

My son was back in Soton yesterday on his cruise ship, and went up the road with intention of buying the home shirt - end up with the away. He thinks its more Saints. I think both will grow on us eventually.

That'd be funny. But seriously, that's a bit of a silly question. This season's shirt has red on it at least. To abandon both red and white would obviously be going too far.

Ultimately, it's a piece of fabric worn by the players we turn up to support. If we are successful in it, the aesthetics of the kit won't matter as much.

Good, thanks for writing that. I have printed it off and attached it to my penis.

Fine, I'd be a massive hypocrite to have a problem with this statement. We have differing opinions and that's okay.

By the way, making the assumption that I don't go outdoors isn't okay and I take it as a personal insult. Try and refrain from that, yeah?

Well that's fair enough (obviously) but to make it out as if Cortese has shat all over Southampton's tradition is taking it far too seriously.

Oh, we do love to argue. But am I alone in finding that they most unsettling thing was not the kit, but Adam playing with a number 11 on his back? Just seemed plain wrong.

He's taken it too far this time, Dan. First the ticket tax, then the car parking charges, and now this ****ing ****?!?! It's not on. I'm not having this **** forced in my face by Nicola anymore - can't he see this kit has made us a laughing stock in the footballing world? Everyone's taking the piss.

    Oh, wait.

I wouldn't say that in a magistrates court if I was you.

I don´t know why Cortese made the decision on the kit but if it was along the same lines as why Cardiff changed their kit then I´ll be extremely disappointed.
