The situation isn’t ideal. But the situation isn’t a disaster. It’s somewhere in the middle.
In fairness, if this is done right it shouldn’t be too burdensome on whoever it is themselves, the club should take care of it all for them. Providing temporary accommodation, setting up transport, packing and shipping belongings across, enrolling in schools, presenting options for permanent abodes etc etc. It's the planning for training sessions that is the most important. The coach needs to be able to get their ideas and instructions across to the squad and then possibly more importantly is the individual development plans that need to be formed. They can't do that if they haven't been able to analyse last seasons games properly which takes time.
They need to move and then get settled into the area, as do the coaches they bring which takes time.
You mention why can't the coaches who are remaining do this. Because we as a club don't have a set style of play so the incoming coach pretty much has to set that, no point coaching for a certain style if the incoming head coach then changes it. Then the fact that Dodds and Proctor could be leaving the club.
@FellTop would be able to explain better than me. I can only explain from my positions as a scout and data analyst.
Can't help myself when people have baseless argumentsDon't start him off again man marra
.Cheers. Actually it’s not. It’s honking it down to the point that our roof has leaked and damaged the floor and ceiling necessitating our very first household insurance claim in 30 years.
That said, we had a great summer and autumn.
We’ll probably get all the repairs done before a head coach is appointed mind.
Hope you and yours are well Jimmy. That's not good about your house, I hope it wasn't my brother in law who built itCheers. Actually it’s not. I'm not praising SAFC for the future appointment of a manager we can all get behind. Nor am I praising the.about the time scale as I've no idea what that is.
Yet some people are happily, and repeatedly, criticising the club on both counts ...
... as Terry said on the Likely Lads, 'Let's get our retaliation in first'.

Or something you already haveIts like waiting for xmas, except no one knows what date it will be on and the presents may not be what you want![]()
Would be a shambles. Here’s hoping that isn’t the caseIf - If - Dodds and Proctor end up running pre-season then we're just adding more games onto all those we wrote off last season.
Simply unacceptable. You would imagine the crowd would be poisonous at that point.
All of which takes time and you'd want it all sorted before the coach(es) starts to concentrate on the club.In fairness, if this is done right it shouldn’t be too burdensome on whoever it is themselves, the club should take care of it all for them.
