The retained list will be interesting. We need to be ruthless. Anyone deemed not good enough to get us into the top six or not thought likely to improve enough to become a top six player should be out of the door or up for sale.
Next season is the 4th of KLD's 5 year plan. It's a vital one. Anything less than top six should be regarded as a failure.
I'm really looking forward to the close season, which will be a really busy one. New proper Head Coach and a new coaching team, New Director of Football, more experienced and greater quality players coming in, mediocre players going out along with those interesting Premier League clubs. Bring it on!

Be sensible. Things have been pretty bleak but that's just uninformed, emotional nonsense.
We have absolutely no evidence to suggest that's correct and a good deal to suggest it is incorrect.
Bad decisions have been made and a poor season has been had, maybe heads need to roll. Doesn't mean people involved don't give a ****.

Speakman I would probably agree with, to an extent, but we don't know what constraints he was operating under.
As for Dodds and Procter both were asked to do a job that they clearly weren't up to, that's not their fault. I'd be quite happy to see them back in their previous jobs at the academy as they were highly rated at that.
We need to concentrate on getting the right head coach and if appropriate director of football.

Not sure how much he will be involved in the recruitment side. The chief scout at my club has little say on who we sign. His job is to comply scouting reports n dossiers on players and then up to the technical n sporting directors to make final decision

I get the feeling Harvey has a bit of say or he wouldn’t be flying off to make judgements he’d just be coordinating. Those judgments they’ve made haven’t been the best in the last 18 months to me like.

Chief scouts will still fly all over the world tho, theyll even meet players n agents - big part of their roles but they could rave about a player saying they are the best theyve ever seen n the TD or SD could go against them
