Sunderland twitter seems to think our club are having the darkest day of its history, because some of our fans have to sit in different seats for a match, and because those fans aren’t allowed to hold up pieces of cards criticising the Saudis.

Feel like we’ve lost a lot of perspective.
Flippant response mate I generally don’t moan about the club back them to the hilt but
It’s a big issue to a lot of us in the north stand who for the last few years have had all sorts thrown down at us and been ignored by the club they pay lip service and say it’s impossible to move away fans to the lower bowl for security and segregation issues but suddenly and against Newcastle of all teams it’s suddenly possible And it is in their control. Numerous clubs including the mags refuse to give larger allocations for cup games on security grounds

It's not out of sync. Your being told to move. Some have sat in that seat all their life. For a mag.

Sorry like. Don't get any Sunderland fan who things this is acceptable.
It’s a seat ffs sit in another one and cheer. Hope you’re ok you seem on one this week

I don’t employ people who finish 3rd in a 2 horse race, no.
So you looked
Not having a go cos I really respect you as a poster but what has Beale achieved in management? Are we just going with blind faith?

What is the rationale for the decision and alternatives? I'm not fishing just interested in what other options they could have taken? Would they not have had to piss folk off no matter the decision they took

Absolutely spot on.

Bloody ridiculous.

Is there not a different thread for the Newcastle game?

Beale. Not an overly inspiring choice, however that's based on what fans at rangers say about him. But I think he had a decent win rate there, and it's mainly his transfers they weren't happy with ?
If he comes in as head coach, with limited say in the transfers then he could do a decent job with us.
Might be too soon to say this but I read Mick Beale had the 2nd highest win percentage in all of Rangers 120 year history.

They are guaranteed a seat. It says so.

People are rightfully annoyed. It’s the level of annoyance which is out of sync.

Is it we’ve just put our greatest enemy in our supposed home end,. Would any other serious club do that? They claim (wrongly) they took the Fulwell in the play off game, KLD and the mag have given them it,

We enter a cup competition that has explicit rules about away fan allocation.
We draw our rivals.
They demand their full allocation
Safety Advisory Group determines 6000 is reasonable
The club have no right to reply.

What do you think the club could have done differently?

Objected like hell and then seen to be forced to do it , not rolled over.

So for all the good he's done he's to be sacked because of 1 bad appointment?
I didn't say that did I. He's paid the big bucks to make these decisions so he's accountable. That's obvious so I'll assume you're on a wind up. Good evening.

absolutely fine mate.

Just will not accept any Sunderland fan having to move seat, in our stadium for a Newcastle fan.
Have to say then being honest. I think you bring a lot of good to this board and I’ve fought your corner because I think it’s right but not this week. There are more ways than your way, or my way. A few on here need to take a deep breath and be respectful.
