Happy boxing day!

Some time in the next 24 hours we're being moved to new forum software. It's going to look and act a bit different but should be fairly intuitive. If you find any faults let us know and we'll pass on to the admin.
 
It looks odd, but I'm fairly sure once I get used to it it'll be much better than the old one!
Plus the smilies actually work now! <cool>
 
Looks nice. Only thing I cant seem to find is how to go to the last post of a thread?

Found it. Click on the date on right hand side <doh>
 
Bhaji, I think the mobile app is no longer supported, but the new site should be much more mobile friendly.
The mobile app doesn't work at the moment for me.

Also, if anyone knows why some of us have been demoted to "new members", I'd be curious to find out.
 
Is the forum still rebuilding indexes? When going to view the list of past posts by myself or anyone else it's only showing once since the completion of the migration
 
Looks good so far viewing from a mobile. The moderator tools are easier o_O And the smileys are easier too
 
I don't like it if i'm honest. The layout seems off. Use a lot of forums so pretty used to all the software on various ones, this doesn't gel for me at all.

I'm sure it has benefits but on the laptop so far, seems like a lot of gloss for no real gain.
 
As we have a new forum layout. Is it worth starting a new background competition? <laugh> we cant actually see it
 
Being new theres still a lot of tweaking going on with the site. I think the layout will be changed as well soon so it's not so imposing. Will try to keep you all posted :)
 
Update!

There is a 'test' alternative skin/theme setting which is a bit less in your face. All very testy at the moment though.

Can be found at the bottom of the page where it currently says 'default style'
