I should have posted about this before, but I didn't know it was going "live" so soon.
The Vbulletin platform that Mick has been using for this forum is not what it was - the newer versions 4 and 5 have been full of bugs and gremlins to the extent that Mick has decided not to upgrade.
Instead he has been working for the past few months in transferring the site to the Xenforo platform as it offers far more stability. Most of this stuff is way beyond me, suffice to say that it should all augur well for the future.
There will undoubtedly be teething problems coming to grips with the new software for us using it as well as him transferring it. If anyone has any problems, just post them up and I'll pass them on as best I can.
