How do I stop all the emails being sent to me from the site? I don't need to be told that someone has posted on some thread or other. It just fills my inbox.

Thankfully I have never had that - you could mark the site as junk mail if there is no on / off toggle on not606

There is a box in Browsing preferences called " receive email notifications of replies". Have you got that box ticked NZ?

Well spotted ofh, go to your profile, click on preferences (NOT alert preferences) then untick the top box to stop emails!

I noticed that today on the match thread. At no time were there more than two users on the thread, and you never appeared at all Yorkie. The old list format rather than pictures worked, this doesn't appear to.

That was supposed to include a quote from Golden Gordon about iPad cursor problems. I tried to edit the above post but it wouldn't save the changes. The latter problem is sporadic.

Yes. I also can't see what I am writing now, on my IPad, but that doesn't really matter as I'm not going to read this

I am finding the server v e r y s l o w at times. I open another tab, surf the net somewhere else at speed and wait for this site's page to load. When it has I come back, but it is frustrating.

gotta say, using a quote is a bit of a pain for me, it used to just go to the box to type but now i have to go and look for it, irritating!

If you hit the reply button you get the quote without asking and then just type beneath it - and for multiple quotes you hit reply on each post you want to include

yes i do that, and i get the box with the quote in it but i have to go searching for it by scrolling up, whereas before it was on my screen automatically

It seems to do that at times and then not. Is the server struggling?
