You may notice the Multiview feature added to the top menu. Under the Post New Thread there is a new option Add to Multiview. By clicking this on all the forums you are interested in then by selecting the Multiview button (between Forums and Members) threads in those forums will be displayed in one list, sorted in descending order of the most recent posts
 
I've noticed this feature is only available in the default style
