Played wildcard to make a lot of changes during the transfer window, but clearly need some time to bed-in my formation. No not a quoted by MJ, but By The River Manager after 6 players today get a paltry 7 points.
Know the feeimg the MPR Chairman is constantly saying, "I always said it takes time to jell this team and know our formation"
So, I thought I had replaced Aguero with Tevez. Turns out I did that in my Telegraph team and not my Premier League one. Fail. And bottom of the league.
Well, my two new strikers - Fletcher and Van Persie - have done all right for me today. Not to mention my long-serving captain Carlos Tevez. Just the six goals from my strikers this week then. Sorry to gloat and all, but the Gravy Train is up and running!
I think a number of us are grateful to RvP (Now there's a first!) for getting us reasonable scores this week - after a woeful start in my case. Sorry for Southampton to lose 2-3 against both Manchester clubs. C O Y W
My best player was on the bench. Who was that I hear you ask? Winston Reid. A fitting end to a bollocks week.
I did a last minute addition to my wildcard at about 11am on Saturday. It added about 20pts to this weeks score - Michu and Van Persie in place of Silva and Graham. That's probably not making you feel better, is it Bidley? Sorry! Hope your band situation has a good resolution soon.

With no games for two weeks we asked the Chairman if the International break was a bad thing. He said, "No, not at all. Kids are back at school so I always go away about now. Cheap air fares, see." Since none of our players are actually on International duty we asked if they would be going as well and the Chairman confirmed, "No not at all. They wouldn't all fit on the one plane. And can't have favourites, see. Although that boy Furlong..."
Here's a link that should keep you informed of any injuries to your Fantasy Team players - http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php [On a purely parochial note you will see that Senderos has no planned date for his return.]

Wildcard played as well, had to ditch my failing squad. Gone top heavy and a bit weak at the back. Roll on the weekend, so bored last weekend without the premiership.
It's getting to that time of the season where you have to second guess the managers as to who they will rest after a Champions League game, or who has come back from International breaks with an injury or tired.
please log in to view this image MPR Press Release Friday 14th September 2012 The Chairman is travelling abroad at the moment, so we skyped him mid-flight and asked who would win the Derby at the weekend. He said, "Difficult call guys. No, think I'll give that one a miss. My tip is Lucky Joey in the 3 o'clock. Look I've got some spare tickets, why don't you take some of the boys down there and bung on 10 quid for me. What? Yeh, get it from that bellend geezer, he owes me."
