Count me in, and a new member as well if you end on an odd number (My 7 year old son who has genuinely picked a team by himself!!!) Can't do the admin this year though folks (Sure you would be happy about that though in fairness, as I was never around)
I recall you saying that at the end of last season, WWDW. I am happy to step up as administrator this season. And get your son involved - the more the merrier. I assume he's a Fulham fan in the making, or has he had his head turned by other teams at school? Anyway that aside, without further ado, lets get the Fulhamish Not 606 League 2012/13 up and running! You should all have received a PM from me with the league code. Let me know once you've signed up. To anyone else who is interested, give me a shout and I'll send you the code. You can enter the main league or any cups which have yet to be started at any time (even once the season starts); however the head to head league will be fixed as of week 1 when I generate the fixture list and schedule the cups. Good luck everyone!
Quality! He's a Bristol City season ticket holder with his Grandpa but tells me he likes Fulham more as they are better at football! In fairness he comes to Craven Cottage much more
Thanks for your confidence Surlyc but I'm not expecting to replicate last season's performance! I've got your DM and will sort out my team and join later this week.
Is it just me but the link in my email takes me through to a page that says server not available. Tried from work and home for a couple of days now. Anyone else had that problem?
I'm in chaps. Will do some catching up with blogs, emails, etc. over the next few days. (Also seen the email from Fantasy PL.) Sorry but can't help much this year due to work and personal situation which require more time! Thanks God for not have a second league as I thought I was relegated last year!
We have 8 people signed up so far, with around 7-11 people who may well sign up in the next two weeks. Thank you to those that have signed up to date and everyone else, don't forget to join in! I've not had that problem... have you tried searching for the Premiership fantasy league in Google and going in that way? Alternatively, you may need to clear your cookies or something more technical than that!
Morning everyone, Apologies for not posting recently, seem to be some what obsessed by the olympics and euros that the season coming round has just happened. I would love to join up again if there are still spaces available. If I can help in any way with the admin let me know. Just to verify it is the premierleague official fantasy footie ? Cannot wait for the season to start now and for the illustrious not606 fantasy footie league to get going again.
I am in under ' completepig sw6 '. May the season commence and may Petric bang in goal after goal !!!
About time, Froggy! We now have all our defending champions from last year signed up for this year. Let's see if anyone can defend those titles!
My son has a team if he is allowed to come on board, he is a Fulham fan, but did fairly well in his league last year !!
Can I suggest that Surly starts a new thread once the season kicks off, and we use that for all Fantasy Football related banter. Last year WDWW started off by trying to update the league table at the beginning of the thread each week, but -understandably - wasn't able to keep that going. I don't think we need an updated table, as we get that on the Fantasy Football site anyway, but it would be useful to have a list of team names alongside Not606 usernames on the front page. Some of us - me included - don't put our user names on our FFL profiles and some of us - definitely me included - are too simple minded to remember who is who over the course of the season! I'm 50 Shades of Gravy, by the way.
Agreed, Captain. I have a list of teams/forum names, so there's no mystery! I'll make a decision this week whether I organise a "head-to-head" style league as well... that would require many more update posts than the usual league.
Would it need lots of work on your part, Surlyc? I thought that the Premier League website did all the work or organising that: selecting fixtures, notifying people who was playing who, updating the table, etc. If that isn't the case, then I don't think anyone would blame you for deciding to give it a miss. If they do do it, then it may require an additional signing up for the rest of us, so it's probably worth making the call in the next couple of days so we've all got time to sign up before Saturday.
