Whenever the subject of leaving early has come up the excuse has been that they have a long journey, all the way to Hessle or some other far flung place and don't want to be held up. Ironically they are often the same people who object to anyone else standing up even briefly during the game to applaud or cheer the team on as it spoils their view but then are quite happy to have the views of a lot of people spoilt as the whole row has to stand up to let these self- important people out.
