Phil Jones shouldn't be anywhere near the senior squad. Hope Chuba gets a run out vs Borats bunch

Surprised at Alli getting called up. He's played 4 league games for Spurs.

There's quite an obvious reason why bumbling Woy has called up Jones:

    He plays for Manchester United.

Barely, he's only played 16 minutes of league football this season.

He'd only have to play 16 seconds for Woy, all because of the badge on the shirt he wears.

You really don't have to do much any more to get in the England side. Suprised Grealish hasn't been put in just for claiming he's English. Wouldn't surprise me any more.

As much as i like Carrick, he said he was injured to get out of playing for the national team. Wrong on so many levels. Yet he's picked again.

Some of those choices are mind boggling. I mean Gibbs, he's not doing anything at Arsenal. We're putting in players who are bench warmers for their club sides.

Sturridge is a good player but he's just come back form injury. Give him a rest.

There's some players in form who haven't been picked like Cresswell, at West Ham, but has been over looked because he's not "in" with Hodgson. And did i say bloody Jones is in there?

Do England have any players they can call 'world class' any more? Joe Hart? There seems to be a certain level of expectation that sees them wanting to somehow compete with the likes of Germany, Spain, Brazil and Argentina without any players who can match them.

I would argue that we don`t in all honesty, Hart and Rooney are good players, no more no less, certainly not world class. If you look at that squad how many would you imagine get into the top teams in the world. With `Woy` as the manager as well we`re doomed i tell ya !

I'd argue Joe Hart is in the top 5 goalkeepers in the World, but he's probably the only player in the England side to make a top 5 in any position. I'd say he was as good as Neuer and ter Stegen, probably better than Buffon (now, maybe not Buffon in his prime), Casillas and De Gea.

The other positions would be dominated by other countries.

Woy could hardly do much better when all is said and done. Injuries not being very helpful. A good job that England are already qualified and we are hardly playing world class teams either.

Glad to see Deli Ali get a chance but when others are back fit he needs to be in the U21's.

nb. IF circumstances were better it would be great for England to have John Terry and John Stones as the centre back pair.
