Waddock getting to work on our defensive issues by signing Louis Laing on a loan deal from sunderland http://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10430~2578992,00.html Opinions? Wonder if Martin's influence got us this deal?
he looks about twelve i just hope he does the job and can defend set pieces, nice to see god helping out his old team from bucks
He is a very good prospect will make it at the highest level is the word from our coaching staff up here. Take care of him and play him as much as possible.
Youve got yourself a good un with young Laing..trust me hes better than anything youve got there at the moment....and yes I have seen abit of Wycombe this season
glad to see waddocks doing something about the defence at last, also delighted to see MON helping out his old club
Let's see what happens - it's great he can play in the middle or at full back. Am sure some bleaters will come on here and rant about what a ****e signing he is if we don't keep a clean sheet or score 5 goals at the weekend.
Good signing by the sound of it. Without knowing anything about him I can already categorically say that he is better than what we currently have! Hope he makes an impact and we help King Martin with his development a bit.
js i disagree mate,gw signed halls and tunny instead of a decent centre half so he must take the blame for our defensive shortcomings, the new guy sounds good and will get my backing 100 per cent
JS think you totally misunderstood me - I was moaning about the moaners, so to speak! I think he looks a great signing, I'm just waiting for some droners to call him a waste of space if he doesn't get a man of the match.
you going today Rocky? Would love to be there, it's a 6-pointer. Team? Would like to say we might see a few surprises for example Grant up front as he can apparently play with Beavs, or Matt McClure making an appearance if he's fit. But more likely Waddock will stick with the dross!
morning jock ,yeh i am going mate meeting up with slasher and co in the town 4 a few pre match beers.i dont think waddock will change much team wise but then he has made some strange decisions this season so who knows,my main worry is no rodney to score us the goals
I'll be there today too. There's something about matchdays that makes me forget the recent disappointments and turn all excited and optimistic about the game. Then I usually come crashing back down to earth around 4.50pm! I think we'll win today with Beavon being the key. I'd like to see Waddock changing the formation around now that Trotta has gone as we don't suit a 4-4-2 with the other strikers left. A 4-3-3 with Grant and Harris up in support of Beaver attacking them with pace could be the alternative.
