It also means a bigger payout if he is sacked. A contract means nothing in football if things do not meet the owners expectations.
I guess that we all thought that this thread was about Franklin D. Roosevelt's attempt to kickstart the US economy post-Great Depression, didn't we? No? Really? Just me? It was ever thus.
I don't get why this needs to be said. It's like you're reluctantly accepting that we currently have a good thing and this news represents welcome stability, but then can't wait to add the caveat that if it did go to **** he'd be sacked. Well of course, as you say it's the same everywhere, so why are we talking about that possibility? Seems like you really struggle to be anything but negative about Rosenior.
Hence why I finished with "just as any manager is" and hence why I said "it's win win all round" but you know, don't let facts get in the way of what your trying to make out Yup totally and utterly negative, bar the fact for the last few weeks I've been praising him for changes he's made, acknowledging he's learning and making said changes, complimenting how we've played etc. but yer your absolutely spot on and 100% correct, I'm nothing but negative about LR.....
Good job you weren’t in a conversation with Syd. The toing andfroing about what he actually meant and how lessers mortals aren’t able to grasp his subtleties would have lasted all night.
I know that you stupid bastard....my point is it takes longer to dry then the other **** people put on skirting boards....thick ****
Actually it wasn't what I meant ....ha!!!.... I meant if other clubs wanted him then they would have to pay to get him.. buy out in his contract... but either way you're right too...
Which there is absolutely nothing wrong with when there is such clear areas that progress wasn't/isn't happening.
Didn't you say you'd judge a dozen games after the window? How long has this forward line played together exactly? You've said yourself we've seen improvement recently. Just admit you don't like his style.
I don't like how this style has been implemented by him so far, but I can see things changing hence why I've said there's improvement. Long may it continue as there is still some quite obvious areas to improve
Of course there are and always will be. But it's got to be about stability and the incremental improvement which the ownership seem to have recognised and are keen to invest further in.
I couldn't give a **** what the style is so long as it's effective. At the moment it's fairly effective and there's room for further improvement. The reaction since the Ipswich result is highly encouraging. Our current league position is also encouraging. We're a club on the up and this is good news.
