Aaron Lennon has been tied to a new contract.
Showing just how far off the rumours about him leaving were, he's signed up til 2016.

Despite looking a little off the pace in the pre-season, I think he's looked pretty dangerous so far, despite the disappointing results.
It'll be interesting to see where he fits in over the course of the campaign.
 
Maybe the rumours weren't that far off, seeing as he's waited till the end of the window to sign a new contract.
 
Great news, I'm a big fan of him. He is a player I feel needs careful coaching and an explicit tactical plan. Hopefully AVB will help him more than Harry could, never sure that "go out and express yourself" was enough instruction for him.
 
It doesn't necessarily mean he's back in favour PNP, more money can now be asked for in Jan. I'd suggest JD and Jenas have been done with similar thinking.
 
I agree with Notso, this doesn't mean a whole lot. I think AVB and Levy have shown that if they don't feel a player's suited or good enough they will be available for the right price.

He's started the season quite well though and I think he'll benefit from having Ade back.
