I'll take the credit for that one Said on transfer thread would only want Johnson to get a new contract if he takes a pay cut and puts done effort in towards end if the season. Even then not sure as may only do it to secure his WC spot and go back to being shut next year.
Hell no. He's always been an average defender - he was just lucky to have a burst of speed to go past players to compensate his lack of defensive capabilities. Over £100k a week, injury prone, sh*t defensively, been poor in every aspect for the past 12 months - get a younger, hungrier and better right back. Montoya, Sakai, Sorg are the best young full backs in the world - we should be on them!
