Just thought I'd test the waters and see if anyone is interested in a new version of the old BBC606 comp, where promotion and relegation were the main facets of the game. Instead of running it over a month, I thought we might just restrict it to Saturdays. After the first week, we can then form a First Division and second Division. To make it more lively, we can make it roughly 25pc who will be promoted and the same sent down, on a weekly basis.
It will be a win only contest, with Sporting Life tote odds as the benchmark.
All bets will be 1 unit.
Maximum 5 bets per Saturday.
All bets in 10 minutes before the first race of the day.
Nr onto fav. if equal fav, top weighted fav.
The rest we can make up as we go along.
As I don't want to be saddled with this forever, the comp will only run for a month at first. After that, who knows.
We have until lunch time tomorrow to decide it if it's a goer or not.
