Am I being a tad dumb,but why can they be so cloke and dagger? I know they have to wait until deals are signed and sealed,but can't they wait a little longer then they would be able to name them without being worried(if the club wants info out there)

Hyppia on Sky feels let down by Lee. Says he thought he knew him and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Niemi was in the background training....don't know much about Dave Watson, but would have liked Niemi back.
 
One tiny niggle. Is Lee a Les Reed appointment enforced on to Koeman? I hope not as that doesn't always work well.

I think this is how teams work now....the manager has an input, but not as in days of yore. Perhaps we are having two assistant managers (that will work<whistle>) or the second Koeman will be at the Academy. Perhaps they feel we need someone with PL experience. However, hope this isn't another bit of trouble in paradise. No tweet from RK yet....a bit of a lie-a-bed, isn't he?

Some clubs are on Sky being shown back at work....suspect we will hold off until we have a few more players :)

I am going to drive past Staplewood shortly on my way to the tip - i bet the car park there is very empty of performance cars compared to normal. Hoping to find Rickies old boots at the tip when they clear out the lockers at Staplewood this morning !
 
So our academy still has no manager and assistant and now a coach has stepped up to the first team set up.

So we approached Dave Watson after England returned from Brazil...lucky they didn't get through to the final then. I was impressed by Sammy Lee's interview. Showed he had empathy...apologised to Brighton of course, but also apologised to us for bringing controversy with him. I like that. Also had a sense of humour. Comes over differently in the flesh.
 
Nobody has mentioned that an important part of Sammy Lee's new job will be to improve JWP's Steve Gerrard impressions.
