He may argue he has sufficient defensive back up on the bench with Dawson & Rosenior. Now if Dawson starts (which I dont think he will) & Liam still isnt on the bench then it definitely is curtains for the lad
It was a one month loan that would have been ending now, even if it had been extended he'd be in the period were we were allowed to recall him so it would hardly have been ending his career here to accept it. In fact the only reason I supported him rejecting it at the time was because it was so short and he would have been better trying to get a half season loan, or at least a club prepared to take him for the full 93 days. Only if their manager wanted him. If they didn't then it wasn't an option, you'd be as well saying we shouldn't have sold Myhill to WBA for £1.5M because Real Madrid would have been able to pay more for him.
