They like to rotate, Richardson at left back sometimes, Bardsley right back then O'Shea and Brown centre, I can't really see them declining a loan approach for a player not in their plans, especially if it's for 6 months for a Championship team with promotion aspirations, if we got Bruce that could further improve our chances of getting someone like Kilgallon, I don't think Ant Gerrard would be pleased to play 6 months week in week out then get dropped once our captain returns, another player I like is Okuonghae who plays for Colchester, there are a few we could get, Halliche from Fulham, even that McFazdean from Crawley could be good, did ok in the cup game

Kilgallon played 10 of Sunderland's last 20 Premier League games, I'd hardly call that someone who's not in their plans.

He might not be in their plans next season though, that's why we could/should ask Sunderland for a loan deal

    Talk about pointless threads!

When we have absolutely no idea who the new manager will be, what's the point in speculating on who we might or might not sign?

Just saying we definitely need a new centre back for next season, we can't rely on Cooper for week in week out games without no backup

    .. <yikes> ^^^^^ this.

Turner was on the bench when all were fit. He only played when the injuries came into play. MON first choice back line was Bardsley Brown O'Shea Richardson.

Sunderland did have many problems with there backline over the season. The question with Turner will be does he get a new contract offer as he is into the last year next season. He may well keep his options open.
