I have a bitch 3 years old, Tia and Otto who is a year old. Would not be without them even though they cause havoc.

We lost our German Shepherd to Cancer 2 years ago. I can't bring myself to get another - he was perfect. Looked the business - people were wary of him - he was huge, loyal, well behaved, good with the cats and other dogs.

I had a Doberman but even though she died years ago I went through a bit of not wanting one. I had one since with my ex wife.
But I won't have one now as I can't give the dog attention they deserve anymore, due to both me and the wife working long hours.. Will get one when I retire and can devote time to it. So at the moment just have a cat my wife who didn't want one treats like a child. When ever she cooks things like pork chops or Sunday lunch the cat gets a portion as well.
