How many minutes injury time was there? I know it was at least 11 but suspect it was more, and what was the reason for such a long period?
I think the last 3 minutes were dishing out yellow cards and kicking off. I think the kick off was the only thing that happened after the goal which was 98th min. Don't know the rest
it was indeed, but watching the highlights id like to know how their player wasn't sent off for slamming jombati at the end! staggering!
When we were the whipping boys last year nobody had any issue with us as a club. Funny how things have changed now we are doing quite well. Every weekend we seem to be finding more opposing supporters that hate us. I think I like being hated
The Northampton players were a nasty bunch of cheats who don't like a taste of their own medicine thugs like Cresswell, Collins and Hackett were at it from the start they don't play football they just bully the opposition at both ends of the pitch typical of teams in League 2 only they thought we would just take it like we did last season and not fight back they got a nasty shock and went home squealing like a bunch of girls the game needed a strong ref instead we got a whistle happy fool who consistently made the most baffling desissions
Did the ball go over the line just before the disallowed goal? I thought I heard a mention that the Northampton commentators felt it had.
I think Archer just kept it out haven't had chance to study the replays yet I will be taking a closer look later but if the Cobblers commentators say it had that will do for me Ron
To be honest i don't really care about that Ron i was just pleased to get a point. It's good to see the players fighting (Wrong word after our goal) until the final whistle which we never saw much of last season.
No, it was pretty clear it hadn't. But the lino took an age to put his flag up after Hayes put the rebound in. Having seen the replay on Saturday night that looked the right call. The ref went from one extreme to the other - despite lots of niggle (mainly Sid and Pierre for us and Collins, Cresswell and Toney for them)he kept his cards in his pocket until about 75 mins then booked Toney for probably the softest foul of the day and booked about 7 players after that. I do have some sympathy for their left back - as most teams do they were taking an age to bring O'Toole on and their left back was the one who got done for time wasting. I have to say I hadn't been too impressed with Holloway until now - hopefully the goal will give his confidence and belief a boost.
