Grizzly - isn't prevention better than cure ? I don't believe missing out on the CL will be irreversible, we are far too big a club with too big a fanbase for that to happen, but don't you think spending some dosh NOW to keep us in the CL is preferable to not spending the dosh and missing out and potentially losing our remaining world class player ?? The work and rebuilding that would need to take place to get us back in the CL would be immense, you better believe ALL the clubs above us will be improving further still in the summer.
I think we all agree with that, even Wenger must do which is why he bought Arshavin in 2009 when it looked like Villa would make the top 4 (imagine that now? ).
Mate that's not the issue, the suggestion was that wholesale changes are needed at board level, my response was that mass changes may not necessarily be in the best interests of the club...
