I love the new banner to bits. Two suggestions: there are at least a dozen players worthy of a place on there, but how about a couple of current players: N'Daw must be our best player at the mo, maybe Cresswell and Smith are also doing us proud. I don't know what others think about current players. Second... does anybody have a copy of the men who made the town that they could find an early ITFC pic to replace the kit next to '1933'? I do have some pics before the 60s but the earliest is from about 1955. Another possibility might be a newspaper cutting about our formation etc.. all that stuff is in the men who made the town.

Nice banner Welly, preferred the image of the inside of PR myself. Love the Portman Road street sign. Wrighty...that second banner is great. Love the film reel style. I like the kit in the first picture myself. The bloody headed picture of Terry Butcher is my favourite. It always evokes great emotions and epitomises football when men were allowed to be men. It's good to show our players in international colours too. Kuqi in swan dive (belly flop) mode is a cool picture too. I personally wouldn't want to see anyone we don't own on a banner. N'Daw is playing well but could be gone in a few weeks. We already have some good looking banners to choose from and I'd like to get the voting started soon. Voting style... Poll or Post?
Welly, that is a real good effort, I like it because it shows the old, our two most famous & succesful managers but also the modern with our newest stand..........I also like the Portman Road in the background.....torn...! PS how do you guys do this.?
OK I've updated it, the blue matches the not606 colour at the top added a bit of highlight behind the text at the top as it was quite hard to read with the newer colour replaced fabian wilnis with Cresswell (I thought he was the best choice of new players - considering he got fans player of the year last season) replaced picture of butcher with him in blood replaced picture of crawford (wasn't a very good picture) with kuqi doing his famous celebration please log in to view this image Click for bigger I'm pretty happy with it how it is now, but I'm still open for suggestions no matter how minor Hoppers; I use photoshop
I like them both, Wellies due to it's simplicity and Wrights as it tells a story!! Is there a way of using both? Alternating them as in everytime you change page a different one comes up??
Nah, there is, but Mick won't be up for coding that. It may be decided in the end by how it looks behind the elements at the top of the page.
Yes JWM I have to have a specially designed keyboard for my hooves Thats a good point Lancs, I like Wrights design but half of it will be partially covered over. If there was nothing over the top it would be great but because there's alot going on it could look messy behind the elements at the top of the page!!
I just tried it out and you are right, it doesn't really fit - I think the original size I was given was wrong as on the left it misses out the first film reel picture and on the right it cuts off the W of 'Town' to look like a V I'll resize it and hopefully it will work - the history film reel should be clear, and the players at the bottom behind the white fade, not sure if the text captions will work though
