It's not the sponsor that people are objecting to, it's the lack of thought used in placing it on the shirt. You can't fail to have noticed that other people are saying that it would look so much better without the huge black background.

Stop being a fanny and go back and read the majority of the posts.

I missed the word Logo out after Sponsor.. my bad <doh>

there's gotta be some political reasons to this the sponsor is still obvious as ****, maybe the fact they paid so much meant they demanded their logo to be visible from the moon??

this would have been so much better and still works, logo is still very visible and makes it better.

I know this is cheeky but you seem to know what you're doing

Is there any chance you could change the CC logo to white writing, I think it might look better with the white on the shirt

Both shirts are atrocious and I won't be buying either of them <ok>

Usually we get a ****e kit, and a decent kit, but this year they've really pulled two stinkers out of the hat.

Undoubtedly the sponsor logo (especially on the away shirt) kills it - the photoshopped versions are a hell of a lot better. It makes you wonder what the designers are actually paid to do....

no problem mauled1904 actually that looks even better, but you could argue that cash converters want their logo nice and big and for everyone to see

i just think , considering they used the same stickers on the home shirt, it's basically down to cost

Here is Cameron Stewart in the kit:

Looks almost photoshopped on in the official pictures.

Believe me, no designer would ever let that monstrosity out. It's a well know design rule that white type on a black background is harder to read than black type on a light background. This is purely a case of the sponsor (client) dictating what they want with no knowledge of what actually looks good. I really hope that the club compare first week sales against any of the last 5 years shirt releases and realise that they have truly dropped a bollock on this. Fans buy the shirt - it makes no sense to not consult with fans groups or conduct a poll of around 1,000 supporters to see if the design is acceptable. Time to resurrect the FLC!!

totally agree, if 10,000 fans don't buy the shirt this year (unlikely to be that many but still) that's a loss of 450,000! yes you got a million for the sponsorship but they're gonna lose money if people don't buy. stupid

Yeah you're probably right about the cost thing, I think this version works better as it matches the adidas logo and stripes

i know i just can't understand decision... is it to save money? i don't know

Why don't you send your design into the club? Yours is far better than the ****ing abomination we've got. That black patch does look like it's their for a reason, maybe hiding something?

Have they actually paid £1m to ruin our shirts though?

Wasn't it £1m if City hit certain objectives (basically get promoted).

I could be way off the mark of course. As for the shirts, both complete ****e. What the hell are the shiny hoops all about? As said before, the logo could do with being a little smaller/not on a black background..

Other than that... well worth the £40 it'll cost you.....

And i'm still raging over it, personally i find the new away kit minus the **** **** ****ING **** logo, very smart. If i'd won that 162 million. id blooming make sure hull city don't have a ****ty sponsor for a few years atleast
