    I thought it was a curate's egg

Over the summer, he was allowed to bring in 11 new faces, five of which required fees to take his spending to around the £12.5million mark. Curtis Davies has been a revelation at the back, while the early promise shown by Sone Aluko suggests another astute acquisition.

That reads as though the writer believes Aluko is a new signing.

Any article which draws attention to us in a positive light should be welcomed. All of a sudden everyone here has turned into writing critics.

**** me - if most of us here went to a school in Hull let's not start pretending we're experts on writing styles

Everyones a critic, why not just enjoy that someone has being motivated to write about our team in a good way. It wasn't too long ago that apart from the HDM nobody cared less. And the HDM normally got it wrong.
Can you imagine the Hull ex-pats being able to go online and read no end of articles about Hull City.
Who'd of thought it eh ?
