Any of you guys got any reccomendations for shows to watch on Netflix or Amazon. I’m coming to the end of a US show called Frequency on Netflix and have to say it’s really good. A solid 8/10 imho. Also just recently finished Shooter. Again top draw.
Netflix Bloodlines Ozark Breaking Bad Black Mirror Sons of Anarchy Better Call Saul Power Amazon Ray Donovan Viking’s Jack Ryan Black Sails Currently watching or have finished watching most of the above, the rest are on me list. Depends what you’re into but if you like shooter and frequency then most of the above will be up your street I would have thought. There’s many more of course and I’m sure there’ll be more recommendations from others. Happy viewing!
Black Sails on Amazon. Think I'm going to watch this again it was so good. Narco's on Netflix The quality of some of these series on Netflix and Amazon now is so good!
I am going through the Y Gwyll (Hinterland) series again on Netflix and also am watching the magician series of Drummond Money-Coutts (something to do with Magician and Death) and it's excellent. Norsemen on Netflix was a cracking romp. We occassionaly watch something on Amazon: The Man In The High Castle is a good adaptation (and departure) from the books as was American Gods (but that may have gone now). But as we have no TV licence we tend to watch most things (about 95%) on Netflix, a little on Amazon and the rest on ITV/Channel 4 catch-up.
The man in the high castle is my Xmas treat. I haven't seen the latest season so that's my Gym viewing This Winter sorted.
Netflix - Stranger Things, Bojack Horseman, Archer, The Expanse, Orange is the new Black, Black Mirror.
Watched the 1st episode of the mackems. Funny as out all the optimism they had then they get pumped 5-1 off Celtic
Altered Carbon is superb. Stranger things is the Netflix flagship show for a reason. Ripper street, which amazon acquired, is excellent though you need to see the first two series. Same for Last Kingdom. Vikings also excellent, something like season 7 and the first ones were fab. Hill House was a good show up until the last two but worth a shout. The Chris Pine film about Robert the Bruce is really good.
