I’m onto episode 5 of season 2. Enjoyed the first season. Kinda drifting in and out of this one but I’m going to stick with it.
Exactly what the hell have I just watched????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I When it comes to film, this one is for me, uber bat **** crazy non interpretable. I am completely stumped. I don't claim to be Einstein but I do believe I have an IQ that is definitely above that of some inferior forms of pond life.............................but this movie has left me utterly confused. I refuse to get a quick answer from ImDB or Rotten Tomatoes or wherever..I am going to have to mull long and hard over this one. My brain has shut down. If anyone can watch this and not refer to any reviews and give me their personal interpretation, I would love to hear from you (no cheating now, it has got to be based on your first viewing and nothing else and absolutely no sneaky dipping into any reviews for a fundamental scaffold that you can then add meat to - it has got to be just Watch and Interpret.
I'm up for that. After watching Bill and Ted face the music, I think I'm in the correct frame of mind.
Weirdly I’d just been looking at that while browsing Netflix Didn’t decide to watch it, but I’m slightly intrigued now so maybe another night
I'm downloading it as I type. To put this in perspective though, I'm also downloading Mulan. Before that though,. I really aught to finish Lucifer S5. Just did Ozark 2 and 3 so a bit behind. Also, first three episodes of The Boys Season 2 dropped this week.
Turns out you’re very like my wife! Just watched this and she immediately turned to me and said ‘what have we just watched?!’ Err I’ve no idea! Enjoyed it and thought I was maybe understanding it up to the ballet sequence. Just weird, but watchable nevertheless. I’m going to have to read about it to see if anyone knows what’s it’s supposed to be about. Best guess is she’s dying in a nursing home with her dead husbands slippers on and her life is flashing in front of her eyes, but in no particular order...but that’s probably far to easy. Right. First time I’ve needed to turn to Google to understand a film...after I’ve watched it!
Just read an explanation of it. Slightly annoyed because I had got one part right and mentioning it to Mrs Tash but didn’t mention it above. Well well well
My apologies if this has been discussed before on here as it is a couple of years old. I'm just watching the Hulu series "The Looming Tower" which is the most gripping TV series I've seen in years. I quote "When the Twin Towers fell on Sept. 11, 2001, among the thousands killed was the one man who may have known more about Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda than any other person in America: John O’Neill. The FBI’s leading expert on Al Qaeda, O’Neill had sounded the alarm about the group’s threat to the United States long before 9/11. O’Neill had investigated the bombing of the American embassies in Africa, the USS Cole in Yemen, the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia and the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993. He became increasingly convinced that another attack on U.S. soil was imminent — and the series traces his growing frustration with Washington’s attitude toward the possibility that Al Qaeda sleeper cells were operating in the U.S. O’Neill left the job he loved and entered the private sector in the summer of 2001 — as director of security for the World Trade Center. His body was found in the debris of the South Tower." There is also a FRONTLINE documentary "The Man Who Knew" about O'Neill which is well worth watching. TV at its best !!
Well good on you for giving it a go. Not trying to sound smart but I got it after a night's sleep...except that the closing credits shows a vehicle that struck me as being the wrong one!!!!! So I was so annoyed I succumbed to looking for a review - great to find out that I had interpreted it ( courtesy of that subconscious snooze) and it was pointed out to me that I had misinterpreted the vehicle...it was the one it should be and where it should be.
Must watch The Fall ... you all seem to be giving it the thumbs up. Anyone watch the movie Roma? First time I have ever watched a movie that really has no plot at all!!! but it stays with you almost like a biographical account of a slave-like life of servile penury...and it's a macho man's world, no matter if you are the servant or the wife.
