Don’t watch many series especially crime ones from here or the US , all too predictable . but Dept Q set in Scotland is really good , unusual , not cliched , bit of humour , script and acting really good well worth a watch .
I've just watched Dept Q, I didn't think it started all that well, but got better and better the longer you watched. It's based on a Danish book and was originally set in Copenhagen, but it converted to a Scottish setting very well. A second season is apparently already in the pipeline. Last week, I watched the first two seasons of The Capture. I quite enjoyed the first, a little far fetched, but fairly watchable. The second season got progressively more daft and the ending was utterly ridiculous, I actually ended up annoyed I bothered to watch it.
She is also in Department Q, who a few of us on here rated. She is good in anything. Remember her first role in Trainspotting.
I have watched also the original Danish Department Q feature films. A bit confusing the last one (2021) has a different primary cast to the others, which spoils it.
Assume you've seen most of these if you're already into it, but anyway Bron (The Bridge) Swedish/Danish - Probably one of my favorite Swedish show of all time https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1733785/ Kastanjemannen (The Chestnut Man) - Danish https://www.netflix.com/title/81039388 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10834220/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_1 And to include Norway Wisting https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7875794/ A movie and not really crime, great one tho (even if it's Danish as well) Jagten (The Hunt) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2106476/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_in_0_q_the%20hunt
